In this video presentation, Steve presented findings from a 2009 experimental study in Quebec comparing different forest cutting treatments. The study compared traditional hybrid single-tree and group selection cutting with two new variants of Irregular Shelterwood. These treatments also included mechanical understory American beech control, soil scarification, and deer exclusion measures. Watch the full presentation here.
